Mediation
Clients use mediation because it provides them with a space for constructive conversation that allows them to make joint decisions. For some, it is an alternative to litigation, for others, it is a way to resolve a difficult situation with colleagues, neighbors, family members, or business partners. Mediation is confidential, voluntary, and flexible.
Facilitation
As a facilitator, I participate in challenging meetings, workshops, and conferences. I help ensure that the time together is used constructively, that all participants are included in the conversation, and that the group reaches predefined goals. This allows clients to fully immerse themselves in the content of the meeting and leave the process in my hands.
Mediation courses
I enjoy passing on my mediation skills. That is why I regularly spend my time teaching basic mediation training, preparation for the mediator exam, online training and specialized courses, seminars and lectures on mediation. In the courses, I collaborate with colleagues who I know do their work with quality and professionalism.
Mediation process
1 / Preparing for mediation
First, I will contact all participants in the mediation. Then , together, we will plan what is needed to ensure the mediation runs as smoothly as possible . For example, we can arrange individual preparatory meetings or I will ask you to fill out a pre-mediation form.
If you have been ordered by the court to meet with a mediator for the first time , we will schedule a joint or individual meeting to discuss mediation and your expectations. You will then decide whether you want to proceed.
We will begin the mediation by signing the Mediation Agreement .
2 / Mediation
At the beginning, each participant will present what they are bringing to the meeting. We will then discuss individual topics. You will say what is important to you, look for possible solutions and choose the one that is acceptable to all participants. Your participation is voluntary .
The entire conversation is confidential for me and as a mediator I am impartial. One meeting usually lasts three hours . I usually meet with clients several times.
It is possible to meet in my office in Prague or Jablonec nad Nisou, in your premises or online . In some mediations I collaborate with colleagues as part of co-mediation.
3 / Agreement
The content and complexity of the mediation agreement depends on your decision. If you need the agreement to be directly enforceable, you can use the services of a notary or a court-appointed mediator.

Online mediation
Online mediation is neither better nor worse. It's different. Some people find the environment comfortable and works better for them than meeting in person. Some people can't stand a face-to-face meeting.

Facilitation
Preparation is essential for a successfully facilitated meeting. For this reason, we will arrange one or more preparatory meetings together, where we will discuss the goals of the meeting and the best ways to achieve these goals. We will plan the course of the meeting , clarify roles and competencies , and divide tasks before the meeting.
Sometimes, the preparations may indicate that it would be useful to mediate between some of the participants.
I try to lead the meeting in a way that involves all participants in the process of inclusion and at the same time that we work within the agreed framework.
Work facilitation
A department of a large corporation approached me with the need to facilitate a meeting about the future direction and setup of the team. Given the challenging last few months, it was likely that difficult topics would arise that could engulf the group and get them stuck in a cycle. My task is to lead the meeting in a way that everyone is heard and at the same time the meeting leads to concrete conclusions.
School facilitation
We agree with the school management that I will attend a meeting between school representatives and parents. The meeting will discuss a topic that brings many questions and emotions. During the preparations, we meet in a smaller group with representatives of individual currents of opinion and adjust the goals, schedule and information for others. The meetings themselves are then attended by dozens of people.
Facilitation at the conference
The working groups of the European conference bring together young representatives of member countries, politicians and representatives of non-profit organizations. Over the course of two days, they are expected to come to conclusions on a given topic through a series of meetings. Together with other facilitators, we participate in the design of the structure of the individual blocks, according to which we then conduct the meetings. Of course, with a certain amount of changes and activities according to the needs of the group.

My journey
I discovered mediation ten years ago. I took the first mediation course at the Faculty of Law at Charles University. I joined the newly formed Student Mediation Prague association. I also went to study the subject at the University of Kent in Great Britain. I threw myself headlong into mediation.
And so it remained. In 2019, I passed the exam at the Ministry of Justice, and I am now a registered mediator. I have over a thousand hours of mediation experience. I work in both Czech and English. I have training and experience in facilitative and transformative mediation. I enjoy changing environments, so one day I am sitting at a table with business lawyers, another with a work team, divorcing parents or angry classmates. I teach elective courses at the law school, where I am also studying for a doctorate. I coach the law school's competitive mediation team at international competitions - in 2023 we took 3rd place and in 2025 they were the best in the world.
As a facilitator, I support effective communication during challenging meetings and at European conferences. It is essential for me to do my work in a quality manner and in accordance with the core values of the process. That is why I am constantly educating myself and regularly co-mediate and co-facilitate with colleagues. Thanks to this, I receive professional feedback and the certainty that I am going in the right direction.
